Wine Slush frosted Blizzard Slush Mix
Our original and first wine slush mix recipe.
The original Frosted Blizzard wine mix can be used in
several ways to make a delicious frozen frosted slush drink.
Use your favorite wine i.e. Merlot, Pinot Noir, etc. Sangria
also works well.
Frozen Method;:
In a container combine the entire package of
the mix with a 3/4 bottle of a 750 ML dry red wine.
Add about 1/2 of the bottle
of water to the same container with the
mix and wine. Stir until the mix, wine, water are
fully dissolved. Freeze for 4 hours minimum.
Thaw out and stir well. Makes up to 8 four oz. drinks.
BLENDER SLUSH METHOD:
Based on a 56 oz. blender:
Put 1 package of the mix in a blender along with 3/4 bottle
(2/14 cups) of Merlot or any red wine.
Use white wine if a preference. Fill the blender with ice and blend
for a slush consistency. Makes up to (7) 8 oz. drinks.
NON-ALCOHOLIC VERSION:
Use non-alcoholic wine, ginger ale, cranberry, apple,
grape, pomegranate, pineapple, cherry or a juice of
your preference.
